I know an easy way to clean your dishwasher from plaque and rust

Recently, my husband brought home a metal dish dryer. It was bought on sale, not of the best quality, of course. And since it constantly interacts with water and moisture, plaque and rust formed on it quite quickly.

What I just did not try to clean this dryer, but it was all to no avail. On the contrary, it was getting worse, I was already thinking of quitting this business. The dryer looked awful, as did the plastic tray. I began to study "folk" tips for cleaning the surface on the Internet and it turns out there is a good way to clean with ordinary vinegar. And you don’t really need to do anything, just drop the object in a vinegar solution and after twenty hours everything itself becomes clean.

After waiting for the whole family to leave home, she took a large basin, filled it with water and poured into it about half a liter of acetic acid. I also added a little hydrogen peroxide to be more effective. After that, I immersed the metal dryer in a basin with a solution and left it for a day. I think how much water and vinegar is needed depends on the degree of “severity”, I can’t say the exact amount, I did the whole process offhand.

At first, pulling out the dryer, I was at a loss, as all the plaque remained on the surface. But it turned out that it was only necessary to drip a little detergent on it and gently wipe it with a sponge - and the dryer flashed. The only difficulty was the areas between the joints, where I had to tinker with a toothbrush. I was very pleased that the dryer became as good as new.

The plastic tray, it was enough to pour vinegar for half an hour, then with the help of detergent and a metal sponge, everything was washed very easily.

I learned on the Internet that it is not advisable to do such procedures too often. Therefore, in order not to bring to a critical state, for prevention, I clean the dryer with soda once a week. To do this, I dab a little sponge, sprinkle soda on it, sometimes adding a little hydrogen peroxide, or citric acid, and carefully wipe the dryer, plastic tray, and all the objects that make up the coating. This saves energy and time, as these products do all the work for you, especially vinegar and soda - the most affordable cleaning products in the house.
