Poor lighting above the desk

Dull or too bright lighting can be considered bad. As for daylight, it is not enough to put a table by the window. It is important to do it right. It is better to set the table parallel to the window opening or so that daylight falls on the left. Also, you should be able to adjust the intensity of daylight, if necessary, using blinds or roller blinds.

As for artificial lighting, the lamp should cover the entire working plane. The spectrum should be “cold” bluish, like LED lamps.

Not organized storage space

Half the success depends on the proper organization of storage locations in the workplace. When you know where it is, the job is argued. Position shelves, organizers, and stands so that they are within reach of your outstretched arm.

The desktop is against the wall

Often we choose just this desktop layout and hang a shelf above it, violating several Feng Shui rules. They say that sitting with your back to a window or door is not advisable, as this can attract troubles and setbacks. This also applies to objects hanging over the table - shelves, which with this arrangement of the countertops usually hang above it.

Wrong chair

Fatigue and physical discomfort during sedentary work occur due to an uncomfortable chair or chair. Check the height of the seat - the monitor should be at eye level. Adjust the inclination of the back - ideally, it should be slightly tilted back, and the legs should be free to reach the floor. When choosing a chair, consider its depth and the presence of armrests - they allow you to unload the shoulders and back.

Wrong table

Too small or too large a table is inconvenient. Choose the size of your countertops based on your occupation. Not only the size, but also the shape of the table should be comfortable. Choose models with built-in cabinets and drawers. Keep in mind that there should be enough free space around it - you should not have any discomfort if you need to go out or sit down at the table.
