Errors made when washing clothes can seriously affect the appearance of things and even lead to their complete unsuitability.
Too much powder
The use of a large amount of washing powder does not guarantee the best quality of washing. On the contrary, the abundance of foam will trap dirt in those places that are most difficult to clean - the collar and cuffs. In addition, rinsing clothes will be more difficult: stains may remain on it and washing will have to be repeated. Therefore, it is better to clearly follow the instructions for the washing machine and apply exactly the amount of the product that is indicated.
Cover the stain too hard
It is advisable to try to reduce stains from clothes to the main wash, but this must be done very carefully. Do not rub the cloth with force or wash the dirt many times - this can ruin the thing.
It is better to use a suitable stain remover. Gently apply it on the stain, maintain the recommended time, and then wash the product. Remember: it’s easier to get rid of a fresh stain. Therefore, if you stained a thing, then you should not postpone washing for a long time.
Do not sort laundry by type of fabric
Sort linen should be not only by color, but also by type of fabric. Synthetics should be sent to synthetics, and cotton - to cotton things. This will allow you to choose the right detergent and washing mode, which means that the clothes will retain their shape and appearance better.
Filling the washing machine too much
To wash as much laundry as possible at a time is the wrong decision. At maximum drum loading, things get tangled up, fabrics rub against each other and tear. And the machine itself will be protected from breakdowns, because a common reason for its failure is the parts from bras stuck between the drum and the body, lace from underwear or the socks of babies.
Forget to wash the washing machine
The washing machine must be cleaned regularly. Be sure to thoroughly wash the tray into which the powder is poured and pour the rinse aid. When washing, they do not completely wash out and eventually the tray becomes covered with an unpleasant sticky layer in which bacteria and mold can multiply.
