They litter your home: 8 things to get rid of

Using disposable and unnatural things is very costly and irresponsible. Alternative options have long appeared that are inexpensive, last a long time, occupy a minimum of space, and do not harm health. If you keep up with the times, then it is time to decisively remove from your everyday life all objects that clutter up the house and destroy the environment.

Cling film

Many people are used to using cling film daily. It is convenient to wrap food in it; it is easy to cover dishes with it. However, it quickly ends and takes up a lot of space in the kitchen cabinet.

Better replace it with wax wipes. This is a reusable eco-friendly item. Such wipes consist of a fabric soaked in wax. In them, without fear, you can wrap fruits, vegetables, cheeses and other products.

After use, simply rinse the wax towel with water and allow to dry. In some cases, you will need to rinse it with a mild detergent to remove food debris.

Plastic bags

This is probably the most commonly used item in everyday life. In almost every home you can find a package of plastic bags. They have long been known for their negative impact on nature, in addition, in most cases, they are used once, and then thrown out.

Use cloth bags instead of plastic bags. They can be purchased in specialized stores or sew on their own. It’s convenient to go shopping with them, to wrap things up, to store food. To put a textile bag in order, it is enough to wash it, and it will be as good as new.

Cocktail straws

Tubules are an indispensable thing at children's parties and parties. These devices are popular, but rarely reused. After the celebration, a heap of bright tubes of food plastic or polypropylene is sent to the garbage, and from there to the landfill, where it decomposes for years, poisoning the soil.

Try replacing disposable tubules with iron. They are easy to wash, they serve for a long time and look beautiful. It is also pleasant to drink hot drinks from them, because the metal cools high temperatures.

Plastic toothbrushes

A toothbrush is a daily necessity item. Such products wear out quickly, but even for hygienic reasons it is recommended to replace them every 3 months.

Instead of plastic, it is better to purchase a bamboo toothbrush. It lasts longer, has a positive effect on oral health and does not destroy the environment after disposal.

Washcloths

Without washcloths, it is difficult to cleanse the skin qualitatively while taking a shower. Sponges made of artificial raw materials are very popular. They are enough for a couple of weeks, then the washcloth loses its shape and you have to buy a new one.

It will be more profitable to purchase or sew a special glove for the body. It is suitable for reusable use, keeps its shape, is pleasant to the skin and copes with pollution perfectly.

Dishwashing brushes

Most often for washing dishes use foam sponges or plastic brushes. Try to replace artificial devices with bamboo.

Handles of bamboo brushes do not absorb moisture and do not create an unpleasant odor. Bristles delicately cleans even persistent, dried up dirt. Such a brush will serve you for more than one year.

Shoe covers

When one of the relatives suffers from an infectious disease, it is advisable to walk around the house in shoe covers so as not to spread germs.Shoe covers made of polyethylene are cheap, but very quickly torn, so they can be considered disposable.

Try not to litter your home with non-environmental things. Replace your usual shoe covers with fabric ones. They are easy to sew on their own. In addition, they can be washed, disinfected and worn repeatedly.

Ear sticks

These devices can be attributed to consumable cosmetic products. Their base consists of soft plastic, so it is difficult to reuse the ear buds.

Better go to special bamboo sticks. It is easier to wind cotton wool on them. One such stick can replace an entire package of plastic counterparts.

Do not keep at home things that take up extra space, harm the environment and require fixed costs, because they are used once. The transition to natural reusable household items is not only a reasonable, but also a very humane step.
