Insulation of the floor in the living room above the wine cellar - is polyurethane foam relevant?
Good afternoon, I ask for advice on thermal insulation and waterproofing of the floor, and other surfaces in the wine cellar, which I decided to arrange in my house. Actually, I'm also interested in additional insulation of the floor in the living room, under which the cellar is located. Is it possible to solve this problem by warming the ceiling in the cellar (I have laid parquet on the living room floor), and the floor insulation in the cellar itself also interests me. I am advised to use polyurethane foam, but I doubt that the wine cellar should still “breathe”, and the materials used to equip it should not emit harmful substances?
