Wash a towel in the microwave: clean and white in 5 minutes
Recently discovered an unusual and effective way to clean towels with a microwave. This method turned out to be really effective and has been personally tested in practice more than once.
If you think that the microwave is in no way suitable for washing, then I will try to convince you. This method is safe and will not affect the quality of the towels, nor your health. Let's figure out how to not waste your time anymore. So:
- First of all, make sure you have laundry soap and a plastic bag. Wet a dirty towel and rub it well with soap. And also you can pour a little lemon juice on complex spots, or pour citric acid. If there are coffee stains on the towel, then salt will do well with it. Then put your dirty towel in the bag. It is advisable not to close the package or tie it.
- Next, put the cloth bag in the microwave.
- It’s enough to turn on the microwave for one and a half minutes.
- Carefully remove the bag from the oven, I advise you to do it with forks, or other improvised means, in no case do not pick up your hands so as not to burn yourself. For greater effect, the procedure can be repeated.
- Rinse the towel in clean water and you're done. No unpleasant odors, no stains.
Do not experiment with the power of the microwave, always set the average.
I must say right away that this method is better to use in the most serious cases, for example, when there is a lot of fat on the towel, stains from berries, coffee and other complex pollution. In other cases, I always wash either by hand or in a washing machine.
For example, if you need to remove greasy stains, then I use a dishwashing detergent. To do this, I dilute the product in warm water, urinate a towel in this solution and send it to the microwave. And also I use various stain removers.
Hydrogen peroxide can be added to the solution and let it brew for several minutes. Then your towels will become snow-white.
