I am interested in the reliability and durability of OSB boards. I plan to use them when installing the floor in the country (first floor) - a completely wooden cottage. I wanted to make a wooden floor, and put a floor covering on top (in some places a laminate, in some places a carpet). But masters advise me to buy OSB boards instead of a floorboard. They assure me that this is a more budget option, and at the same time, reliability and durability will remain the same. And most importantly, the installation of the floor will be significantly accelerated. Tell me, is this really so? After all, they are pressed and it seems to me that on the ground floor they are quickly saturated with moisture and rot.
