Can Ceresit CR65 waterproofing be used instead of Ceresit CE33 grout?

Replaced the floor tiles in the shower room. After waterproofing with Ceresit 65, a bit of the mixture is left. Can it be used instead of grouting Ceresit 33 (40)?

Vladislav, the polymer-cement composition Ceresit CR65 has excellent adhesion and excellent waterproofing. In addition, the presence of mineral fillers and organic modifiers makes it extremely strong and wear-resistant, which allows you to use a similar composition instead of grouting Ceresit CE33. As for the color of the material, it can be tinted using any coloring pigments intended for coloring plasters for outdoor use.

With such a replacement, we recommend diluting the dry mixture not with pure water, but with a liquid with the addition of antifungal compounds - in this case, the grout you have made will not be inferior to the factory material in its properties.
