Laying the floor on plywood with adjustable anchor bolts: how to calculate the thickness of the material

In a multi-storey brick building in a 4-room apartment, I change floors. We want to put plywood on adjustable anchor bolts. On top of it is parquet (15mm) (rooms), TsSP + porcelain tile (corridor). What thickness does plywood need to withstand the stress of family and furniture? If it is put in 2 layers, is it possible to divide the thickness in half?

Hello, Valery!

According to the technology of laying wooden floors on adjustable anchors, the thickness of the flooring plates from plywood or OSB must be at least 20 mm. In addition, it is allowed to use a two-layer coating with plywood sheets with a thickness of 10 mm or more. The top layer can also be equipped with other materials, for example, moisture-resistant drywall sheets (GKL) or cement-bonded particleboards (DSP), followed by laying ceramic tiles or parquet boards. In this case, it is best to choose plywood with a thickness of at least 15 mm.

If the installation of the floor involves the installation of adjustable lags, the thickness of the plywood coating can be slightly reduced. Depending on the distance between the lags installed on the adjustable anchors, the thickness of plywood can be from 15 to 20 cm. Just like in the first case, two-layer laying with half-thickness plates can be used for flooring.
